Morgantown Luncheon Update!

We’re in awe of what Jill Kaar Hanson and her team are doing—under the most challenging circumstances—to make sure the Paper Doll Convention can finally take place.

 

In the spirit of solidarity, we’re postponing the Pennsylvania Paper Doll Party once again to make sure the convention takes center stage and draws the most paper doll lovers together in one place. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones in the raffle room and salesroom and at the workshops and presentations. 

And we promise not to shove too much when the freebie tables are uncovered!

I'm taking a wild guess on the date--it could be this was produced in the early 1960s. 

This is the kind of collectible I love to find: a reflection of the latest technology in all kinds of ephemera, whether the latest typewriter, the telephone or TV. How many of us had toy telephones or radios (with a music box inside) to mimic the devices of the grown-up world?

Four shows to watch on this TV! The fourth, about a thief stealing the King's tart, is attached with a brad to the front of the card.
