Northland Poster Collective

An evergreen message from the Northland Poster Collective, which closed in 2009. You can see more of their work here. I can't remember where I found this greeting card; probably an independent bookstore.

I particularly like this one, found on the word press blog I shared above.

Gwen Stacy paper dolls

Cover Artist: Adam Hughes

This is one of the covers Marvel issued for this series; all have the paper doll. The comic book looks at Gwen's life before she met Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.

Paper Doll Artist: Nina Vakueva

Colors by Rachelle Rosenberg

Thanks to Bruce P. Jones who gave me the heads up about this paper doll a few months ago.

Happy Mother's Day

One of four decorative bridge pads produced by Gibson ca. 1928 and sold in a box.

Linda High Fashion Paper Doll

UPDATE: Thank you Rachel of PaperThinPersonas for identifying her as Linda Belcher from Bob's Burgers!

(And check out that link, Rachel has some wonderful paper dolls and creativity prompts.)

This was pinned on Pinterest, would love to know more about it. I think this is a character from Bob's Burgers or Family Guy.

A handmade paper doll by Margaret Menamin

One of the beautiful things about paper doll collecting is the friendships that are formed.

The friendship between Margaret Menamin and Carol Carey was a thing to behold. They delighted in each other's company and creativity.

This is a paper doll that Margaret made as a birthday gift for Carol in 1996. Margaret died after a short illness in 2009; you can read more about her here.
