A buttery valentine, c. 1930s

This lovely valentine reflects the excellent taste of one "Wilma." I love the play on words and punning so common in these valentines.

  1. Oh, how sweet!

Do you have a large Valentine collection, Linda?

  2. Not very large, but I do have a weakness for beautiful illustration and corny puns, and some of the best valentines combine both. Can't resist. But I don't think I have close to 100 in my collection. Hmm, now I'll have to check! But closer to 40, I'd say.
