Elizabeth Taylor, 1951

Photoplay magazine, May 1951. That question "Spoiled Brat or Mixed-up Teenager?" has been asked of many young stars, including Miley, Britney, Lindsay etc., etc. But I doubt any of them will have the acting career Taylor had.

  1. What a great cover! Taylor was more beautiful and talented than the rest of them put together.

  2. The June issue of Vanity Fair came with a vintage photo (1950s) of Elizabeth Taylor on the cover and a fascinating article about her love affair and marriages to Richard Burton. And, this was way before Brad & Angelina! She will always be the most beautiful woman of our time, IMHO ...

  4. Yes, I picked up the Vanity Fair issue, gorgeous cover. A torrid couple. I think the article is an excerpt from a book with more of their love letters included.

  5. What a beautiful cover. Liz looked so sweet as candy, but she was hot and went her own liberated way. I've just read a Vanity Fair book with on-the-set tales of famous films. The story behind Cleopatra was hilarious.
