Friendship's offering, ca. 1880s


This pretty card was pasted in a scrapbook; no writing on the back, but it might have been a freebie given away at a store.

    When I see children in those low cut dresses I can't help but wonder didn't they get cold? No signs of a woolly card or snuggly jumper. Perhaps they wore so many petticoats the cold didn't penetrate?
