Magic City, 1937

Another "Uncle Dudley" item, from the same 9-26-37 issue of the San Francisco Chronicle that featured Betty in Paper Playmates.

  1. Oh this is great.
Reminds me of the house that I made when I was in school for craft.(5th std) I became such an expert that I started making it for others in the class.
Even today I can reproduce and recreate the whole thing by memory.
I suppose that Engineer thing in me developed at that early stage.

  2. That's impressive! I must say as a child I loved making paper dolls and their outfits and wanted to design clothing. But writing had a stronger pull over me, and that's what I focused on.

  3. Plus, not having a whole lot of drawing and design talent. (Heh heh, a little oversight there on my part.)
