I think you mean "Maude Adams" with an "e"! Being from Europe I hadn't heard of her so had to Google her name and found another "Maud Adams" - a Swedish Bond girl!! NOT to be confused ;-)
Was a huge fan of the Mary Martin/Cyril Ritchard Peter and Hook of the '50s. Have it on video.
Went to see the Sandy Duncan one in the late 70s or early 80s. Don't remember much about it except her flying over my head. I was too confused by a phone call I'd had in the morning from singer Rick Springfield. Weird day. Weird memories.
Great card! I enjoyed the handwriting on the front and I would have loved to see *the above*!!!! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing a more modern version of Peter Pan in the 1950s.
ReplyDeleteYes, I loved Mary Martin in the role, played on Broadway in the 1950s, then taped and televised c. 1960. Still have the soundtrack.
ReplyDeleteMary Martin IS Peter Pan! Loved hers and the Disney version as well. Did you notice Maud us wearing a Peter Pan collar? Wonderful card!
ReplyDeletePeter Pan was one of my childhood favourites!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the paper dolls!

Wonderful card. Great old-fashioned (although not particularly pretty) name - Maud.
ReplyDeleteoops! thanks for the correction, Debs. will fix now.
ReplyDeleteBut she would be a Bond girl if she were around today! Wonderful card.
