The series of Peggy Pryde and Her Playmates ran in Pictorial Review from January through May, 1926. (This cut set is incomplete.) Margery Schaffer has a few others on her blog, so be sure to check it out:

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I love the hair style on her.
ReplyDeleteHi. I had a Peggy Pryde print that had a little rhyme on it. I gave it away as a gift and I’m trying to remember the poem. Since you know about Peggy, do you remember it, or have anything with it listed? I just want the words to it. It was something like, “Poor Peggy seems in great distress. Her sunny smile is gone. She wants to wear a pretty dress. But she can’t put it on…” If anybody knows this and can help, please contact me via word press at http://www.thedigitaldorkette.com. I know it’s silly, but I want to remember. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI also left this same post on the Marges8's Blog.
